What started as a backyard project of designing a friend’s house has now turned into a full-fledged profession for Aneez Shaikh, the founder of House Int. This Civil Engineer analysed the modern interior designing ecosystem and recognised the gaps. He saw the compromised services that the contractors were providing and their price. One might call it an epiphany, but he realised he could provide professional design and services at the same cost.

It was then he decided to start House Int, his dream hustle. It’s a tech and design-first company that prioritises the whole journey of renovating a space rather than just the final outcome. It comes as no surprise then that House Int runs on pure passion of the team, and of course, numerous rounds of cutting chai.

Houseint aims to make the company global in the next 5 years and to provide design services beyond the borders, where they are not easily accessible. One of his chief goals is to create a community of designers, decorators, on-field managers, techies, etc., that are just as passionate about interior designing as he is and to fuel tech-led design innovations worldwide.
